Spend 6 days in an authentic Sicilian Casolare, and immerse yourself in this unique Lucid Body retreat, combining the Lucid Body tools of psychophysical work along with intimacy work on stage and on set . Actors can delve into the emotional and physical aspects of intimate scenes with a heightened awareness of their bodies.

Experience daily Lucid Body classes that offer a distinctive chakra exploration process, enabling actors to embody characters with authenticity and visceral depth. These sessions are complemented by Intimacy workshops, focusing in on listening to Self and our scene partner, articulating consent and understanding our Challenge Zone.
This holistic approach involves establishing clear boundaries, fostering open dialogue, and embracing a collaborative method for choreographing intimate moments, ensuring actors maintain a sense of control and safety in their performances.

Margherita Peluso, LUCID BODY Teacher
Raniah Al-Sayed is a Movement Practitioner and Intimacy Director. Currently she is a faculty member of Shakespeare’s Globe Higher Education Department. She is a Senior Lucid Body teacher with a decade of experience in London Drama Schools, working in institutions such as Arts Educational Schools London, Mountview, Italia Conti, Drama Studio London.
In 2019 she began a pathway in Intimacy Direction both in professional theatre and as a facilitator in drama schools. She has had the pleasure of crafting moments of Intimacy for large scale immersive productions, small fringe theatres, television comedy, short independent films, and large scale traditional theatre houses.
Margherita Peluso a multifaceted artist, has distinguished herself as an actress, coach, and international director, shaping her career with a deep passion for theater and anthropological research.
As the first Certified Teacher in Italy of Fay Simpson’s “Lucid Body” method, Margherita shares her knowledge as an Acting coach, highlighted by the publication of the book “The Lucid Body Method, a Psycho-Physical Guide for Actors” published by Audino Editore. Currently, Margherita Peluso is dedicated to writing and interpreting the documentary “Finding Marta,” a profound exploration of Pirandello’s muse. Her role as an acting coach on film sets in Italy and worldwide continues to underscore her significant presence in the global artistic sphere.
THE PLACE – MODICA
B&B Vinciucci is an ancient building from the 1700s constructed on the remains of a watchtower built to guard against Saracen invasions. It stands amidst fields of ancient carob trees and overlooks the sea, visible on the horizon, on the Iblean plateau between Modica and Ispica in the province of Ragusa.
ACCOMMODATION
The rooms, spacious and bright, are furnished in a warm and distinctive manner and come equipped with air conditioning or ceiling fans. All living units feature a sitting area, kitchen, and a bathroom complete with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.

Cancellations Policy
If you need to cancel any Retreat, cancellation fees will apply. Any notice of cancellation must be provided in writing.
Please refer to the following for a breakdown of applicable cancellation fees:
There is no cooling-off period when purchasing or booking any of our Retreats.
– If you cancel 90 days or more before your Start Date, you will be refunded the full amount paid up to that date for your retreat. This excludes the 30% deposit per person which is non-refundable
If you cancel between 60 – 90 days before your Start Date, you will be refunded 50% of any sums paid. This excludes the 30% deposit per person which is non-refundable
– Cancellations less than 60 days before the Start Date of your Escape are non-refundable and will result in a forfeit of any and all sums paid.
Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.
